At Austin Jet Ski Rental, we have a hassle-free 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation at least 48 hours in advance, a full refund will be issued. However, cancellations made within 48 hours of your reservation, as well as no-shows, will be charged in full. In the event of cancellation by the operator due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or a credit for future bookings. We will make every effort to reschedule your reservation on the same day if specific time slots are canceled due to weather. Once the personal watercraft leaves the dock, no refunds will be given.

What is the maximum passenger capacity and weight on a personal watercraft?

Each personal watercraft has a capacity for two passengers. The total weight of passengers must not exceed 360 pounds (225 kg). It is important to respect these restrictions to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit cards, debit cards, Venmo, Zelle, and Cash App. We also accept cash at the time of rental for any outstanding balance.

Are life jackets included?

Yes, approved US Coast Guard life jackets (PFDs) are provided.

What is the minimum age to rent a personal watercraft?

The minimum age to rent is 21 years old. A teenager of 16 years or older can operate the jet ski as long as an adult is present. A child of 6 years or older can ride as a passenger but cannot operate the jet ski.

Is it possible to extend the rental duration once the reservation has been made?

Yes, but it will depend on the availability of our units.

Can a personal watercraft be rented for a half-day or only full hours?

Yes, we offer half-day rentals in addition to full-hour rentals.

What is the allowed operating area or zone for the personal watercraft?

There are signs on the lake indicating which areas you can operate the jet ski in and which areas are restricted, as well as the allowed speed limits.
